"Death, Jr." #3 in stores this week

The concluding chapter of the three-part "Death, Jr." mini-series is in stores tomorrow, Wednesday, August 31! Here's a preview of the cover art from the brilliant Steve "Sam & Max" Purcell (click for larger view).

If you don't have a comics store nearby, you can order "Death, Jr." online from Silver Bullet Comics and plenty of other places on the intraweb.

Some DJ news

Just a few random "Death, Jr." tidbits...

* The trade paperback edition, collecting all three issues, has been confirmed by Image and will be released on November 9. We're currently in negotiations with a VERY well-known artist to do a special cover for that edition. More news on that soon, hopefully...

* Issue 3 will be out on August 31, two weeks after the PSP game hits stores. Ted and I may be doing some signings around this date, in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Check back for dates.

* Issue 1 is going back to press! Image has received a big enough increase in orders for the first issue that they'll be reprinting it. So it should be a little easier to find at your local store soon.

Official: "Death, Jr." signing was good

The "Death, Jr." signing at Comic-Con was a big success! Ted Naifeh and I signed for hundreds of happy DJ fans on Saturday, who also showed up at our "Making of Death, Jr" panel the next day. Here's a pic of me and Ted signing - that's Backbone Entertainment's Patrick Baggatta and Mike Mika in the background. Thanks again to everybody who came by!
